Kunchacko Boban is a popular Malayalam actor. He is the grandson of famous actor Boban Kunchacko.He started his career through a superhit Malayalam film Aniyathipravu in 1997.His role in the famous film Harikrishnans made him one of the top actors of Malayalam industry.He got married to Priya Ann Samuel in 2-April-2005.He had acted about 30 films in Malayalam.
He became an instant teenage heartthrob after his first film, the Fazil directed Aniyathi Pravu (1997), was released. Was a favorite among Kerala's college-campus scene after starring in numerous love stories, but once he finished college, he decided to focus on character roles with more scope.
Part of the Maliampurakal family, who are credited with having the first Film Studio in Kerala called "Udaya". The Studio has produced and released many popular movies.Favorite dish is Karimeen (fried fish).

Kunchacko Boban, more popular as Chackochan, turned the heartthrob of teenagers with his first film, the Fazil-directed Aniyaththipraavu, a trendsetter of sorts. And since then, Chackochan has managed to retain his position in filmdom.
This 'lover boy' of Malayalam Cinema, who has starred in many love-stories on celluloid, including Nakshatrathaaraattu, Niram, Priyam, Chandamama, Prem Pujari, Ingane Oru Nilaapakshi, Mazhavillu, Mayilpeelikaavu, Satyam Sivam Sundaram, Kalyaanaraaman etc, has also rendered on screen some serious characters like that in Satyan Anthicaud's Narendran Makan Jayakaanthan Vaka etc..
